Tablescape Thursday......a Mother's Day Tea anyone?

Time for our ever fun Tablescape Thursday !
Thank you to Susan at ,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , for hosting this always fun link and go to her blog to see other's links
and what they are setting thier tables with!
This week I decided I wanted a Tea Party for Mother's Day, you want to come?
Pinks and greens with some white, what's not to like about that?!
(Click on any photo to see larger)

I used rose printed dishes I found at Marshalls, layered them on milk glass plates.
Used my gold tea spoons and vintage rose napkins.
This will be finger food and beverages, so we don't need all that silverware!

The table top is layered with a moss green damasky flocked table topper I
got at Christmas time. Then I put a large rose embroidered cream satin table topper over that.
I used birdcate, glass cloches and candles for the center piece.
One of the cloches has a pink little rose dolly under it, others a faux cake and cookies.

A view of the room!

The centerpiece is the darling birdhouse that Mishelle at,
, brought me! Love it, I put some moss and a rose figurine from another friend in it.

Don't you just love when the lights are low!!
And the bling is aglow!

I used some milk glass tumblers in the Lace and Dew drop pattern.
Crystal is by Mikasa "Forget Me Not", will work well for a little champagne punch, pink of course!

A little candlelight makes it just right!

This fairy figurine was a gift several years ago from my mother
for my birthday.

Pinks , greens and chintz on the buffet.
A little bling with cloches too.

In the candlelight, the teacups, the fairy , a milk glass bird covered
dish I have and more.

On the buffet I just switched out some of the things from last week. I added shades of pinks and
some reproduction chintz tea cup sets I have on the wrack.

Hi Donna. Thanks for stopping by. But my Mother's Day Giveaway drawing was over yesterday at 6:00PM. I guess you didn't see that last sentence about the deadline. :-( Sorry you missed out. But there will always be another one later down the road.

Oh Linda! It's GORGEOUS! :) I didn't get a ringing in my ears yesterday - so maybe you're too far away for me to be affected! :) I'll make sure to take as many pictures as I can while I'm there. I've read in other blogs that they're sorta ANTI-pictures from the shoppers at Brimfield. SO I may just have to stealth-mode my camera! LOL! I'll cut a little hole in my canvas bag and point the lense out of it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THEY CAN'T STOP ME FROM SHARING ON MY BLOG! BWAAAHAHAHAHA!

This is just lovely! I passed up a teacup holder and still regret that decision. I am so glad you shared the loveliness.
