Tablescape Thursday.....some others, not mine and Enter my Giveaway!

Time for Tablescape Thursday again! Sorry I am late posting tonight, been busy day
and then I had to talk to my folks on the phone etc.
And I am cheating a bit by using others photos and some old ones of mine, since I didn't have time to do my own Tablescape.
Next week I will be back to post days events, as I totally missed Wednesday Wee Ones etc., when I am done working on garage sale preparing!
Be sure and check out Susan's blog at,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , for more Tablescapers posts!!

Several years ago I was able to go to a big doll signing event in Utah. I saved my pennies, sold things on eBay and had garage sales to pay for my trip and my spending money!
It was put on by Marie Osmond and her crew, held on her birthday weekend and with many events, like a doll collectors convention.
While there, on the last day Sunday, you could go to a brunch held at the place she and her husband had their wedding reception. Really neat Restuarant called La Caille , with gorgeous gardens, gift shop and all. Makes you feel like you are in France ,so lovely.

The restuarant building.

Me with Marie on doll signing day.
This was my third time meeting her and getting to go to a doll signing event.
Really pretty fun, except for the "mean girls" treatment. Long story!
But Marie is sweet, really down to earth and gives alot of time to make
sure dolls etc . get signed.
Can you believe 500 people went to this and she was signing dolls all one day practically.
Can we say "Writers Cramp"!!

Another photo of part of the restuarant building.

Anyway for Tablescape Thursday, just wanted to show some of the food how
it was displayed at this brunch. This little cream puff like pastry swans filled with fruit and custard.

Even the jam and butter "roses" were pretty!!
Love things like this, makes the food oh so special.

Then another Tablescape Table I want to share.
I stole a doll friends photos. Her name is Judy and like most every
Judy I know, they call her Judybug! Why is that?
Must be a general Judybug nick name thing .
Anyway she loves Ladybug things.
She has many around her home and in her decore.
She did her table this way the other day getting ready for Spring.
Thought it was so cute!

Can you say "BBQ", that is what it makes me think of
or picnic. To cute!

P.S. Last chances to enter my over 200 posts giveaway.

How fun to go to a doll signing and meet Marie. The food was served in such a fabulous manner. Wish I knew how to do that. Love the Ladybug tablescape, so cute and yes it does remind me of a BBQ or picnic. Love it. I am totally impressed at 200 posts. I havn't even reached 50 and I am running out of things. That is an amazing accomplishment and all the ones that I've read are so interesting. Kuddos to you. I'd love to be entered in your giveaway, and thanks for having such a special event. Hugs, Marty

How fun to meet Marie & get your doll signed. I used to collect dolls but never anything expensive. But I sold them all at a garage sale last year. Your friends tablescape is too cute. I don't remember if I left a comment last week. If not, sign me up for your giveaway.

Wow, what a fun time that must have been. Marie Osmond is so talented and seems like a very nice person. My MIL is crazy over dolls, she has a little curio cabinet full.
