Giveaway time and Tablescape Thursday.......fruit salad anyone?!

GIVEAWAY TIME.....AND TABLESCAPE THURSDAY TOO!

Over 200 posts, was going to do a 200 post give away and then I got slowed up and
also was not sure what I would give away totally. I want to stuff the box I send full.
So now I am doing one and I am not going to show or tell what all will be in it, but will be fun, a bit of old, a bit of bling, a bit of fun, a bit of crafty.....so join the fun and post a comment saying you want to enter on this post between now and April 30th. Then on May 1 I will have DH draw the number from all the post comments.
Hope to see you here for some fun and maybe a chance to win!
(Click on photos below to enlarge)
"The Prize" photo is of an old piece of Ephemera we found in a trunk of family things.
I like the picture alot, I am not sure but I think it was from an old school tablet of paper, the cover.

And also is is time for Tablescape Thursday thanks to Susan at,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/.
Stop in her blog and check out all the other posters who have set their tables this week, it is always fun!

Wow it is Thursday again, so time to set the table. I had gotten all my Easter things put away this week, so the dining room got changed out. I sure like the Easter setting but always fun to have a change.
This week a bit of Fruit Salad decore, maybe we will get some friends over for some dinner and poor some wine with it!

A bit of a fruit salady table this week, colors = burgandy, olive and white or cream.

Have no idea why it turned this photo side ways. Anyway, I like the pretty border on these plates, my colors, burgandy and olive.

Place setting is done in Queen's "Hookers Fruit" pattern. I only bought the pear and plum pieces
as those reminded me of my grandparents farm, they use to raise both those fruits on their farm in Grandview WA. I can remember helping to pick them in the orchards.
Used my olive green mercury water goblets and the Biltmore "Regal Gold" wine glasses I got recently for $3 each. Also used nice crisp burgandy linen napkins and my burgandy handled flatware again.

Center piece of some faux greenery, nest, in urns with a touch of pear on
a mirrored tray.

A very old piece of milk glass, pear condiment or mustard jar by the Westmoreland Specialty Co.,
adds a little accent to the table.

The sideboard with family hand painted Tea cups in rack, moss balls, pear scented candles
in my milk glass candlesticks, faux pears in the glass jar aka beverage server.

A matching pitcher to the plates. Now I sort of wish I had gotten more
pieces to this set.

The side board gets some fruit pears added to the crystal jar and
some of my pieces of milk glass, some have pear design also.

I sure am enjoying the newer old chandelier,
it just makes the room now.
My early Mother's Day gift from DH!!
Have a good Thursday everyone!
