Time for Tablescape Thursday.
Thanks to Susan at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
for hosting us.
Be sure and check out her fabulous blog for more
tablescapes.
I did a simple Thanksgiving day breakfast table in the kitchen, as
we have a big breakfast, then wait for the later big turkey fest!
I used all things I had.
Started out with some cotton burgundy red place mats, then used some
thrift store find Johnson Bros. Transfer ware dinner plates and our everyday
flatware and wedding napkins.
I layered with some other thrift store find Majolica salad or dessert plates.
I used our red and brown stemware for glasses.
Then topped it off with some other thrift store finds, some blue and cream transfer ware muffin plates.
So I found all these dishes at the thrift store at one time or another!
Some faux pears in a milk glass leaf dish and on each place setting for accent.
For the centerpiece I used my Jim Shore pilgrim set and some
corn candles in our wedding gift brass candlesticks.
It was quick but cute! I like the red as an alternative Fall color.
Now moving on to Christmas, as you can see Christmas decor in the back ground.
I like doing the kitchen as one of my first rooms to decorate when it is time.
Happy Holiday Season Everyone!

A very pretty table -- love those candles! I never have time for a "nice" breakfast Thanksgiving -- it's always whatever they can find for the feast will be later!!!!
