And now, with paint on it, I love it, no more Popcorn!!!!
So we keep going and soon many rooms will be like this and without that dirty stickin' icky cobweb catching falling apart popcorn texture.
I am happy it is happening!!

Wow -- what a difference! I know that this is a tedious process - but the results are worth it -- who the heck invented the popcorn ceilings anyway! You asked if it was really cold here in Virginia -- today was delightful, but we've really been in the arctic blast lately. It's not unusual to have some really cold days in January -- just not so many in a row! Thanks for your visit.

It was a "what were we thinking" when everyone had those awful popcorn ceilings. Glad you're getting rid of yours!
We had those popcorn ceilings in some rooms of our house too! What were we thinking? UGH We have finally scraped all ours off as well. So much better!

My son and daughter-in-law in Atlanta just removed popcorn ceilings from their kitchen and dining room ... they are beyond thrilled ~ as I know you are!
I have one ceiling with the popcorn stuff--I believe it is helping to hide cracks. However whenever I dust it a lot falls off--so over the years maybe it will turn normal, HA!
