Tablescape Thursday...An Announcement and a Fall Tablescape too!

Time for Tablescape Thursday again !
Thank you to Susan at ,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , for hosting us.
Go see all the other posters
this week at the link on her wonderfully inspiring blog!
1st before my Tablescape, BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, my daughter in law called
tonight and they found out they are having a Boy!!!!
So now I can start Grandparent shopping for boy things, yippeee!!

I actually had this done on Tuesday and thought I would get it posted earlier than I am.
But I got side tracked today with a doctor's appt. and the meds they gave me conked me out earlier this evening.
Anyway, I decided to switch up the kitchen table for Fall, as the formal dining room is still waiting for Halloween to happen before it gets it's change. We might have friends over on Halloween and so I want to use the Halloween table then.
I got inspired to do a green and brown and cream table!
(Click on an photo to enlarge and see clearer)

The table all lit in candle light for a romantic Fall dinner.
I did a green and brown Fall theme this time and am really in love with this color
combination!!

I am in love and wish I had bought more of these place mats that are reversible.
They were a Marshalls find, I know should own stock in that store by now, LOL!!
Both the green or the chocolate brown sides are so great. They are quilted with
leaves in them.

This little English transfer ware butterpat or ?
was a recent thrift store find.

These little cream colored ceramic acorn salt and pepper shakers were a
clearance find years ago. Bought them the same time as the ceramic pumpkins.

A few little leaf dishes here and there for serving.

The little rooster napkin rings were a thrift store find a while back.

Pretty centerpiece all aglow!

The pretty stemware.
It is hard to tell from the photos but the wine glasses on left are this color green
on the outside and silver mercury on the inside.
Then they have a lace like pattern throughout the cup portion, so pretty!

Layer one of the plates.
La Famille patterned toile dinner plates from
I just LOVE these plates, some of my favorites.

Layer 2 of plates.
The brown toile dessert plates.

The center piece.
The box that the dinner plates comes in is so pretty I decided to use it for some added height as the base for the center piece.
I used these cream colored ceramic pumpkins that I got years ago on clearance somewhere, some of my milk glass for candle holders and some lovely pear scented candles.
The place setting.
Dinner plates = La Famille pattern from Rosanna Inc.
Dessert plates = from Marshalls.
Salad bowls = from Marshalls.
Flatware = Oneida "Caitlynn" pattern.
Napkins= from Marshalls.
Napkin rings= find from a thrift store.
Stemware= Green mercury glass wine glasses, on sale from Dillards last year.
Chocolate water glasses from Walmart.

If I hadn't liked the blue and brown combination so well for our master bedroom redo
I would have done this green and chocolate combination.
The two colors are so good with each other, yummy!
Have a great Thursday!!

A beautiful tablescape :o) I've always admire you talented ladies for the confidence you exhibit with your craft. I've not attempted one as yet, and see no chance of it happening in the future either, lol.
Well done.

Congratulations!

What a pretty fall table in such pretty colors -- I sometimes get tired of the oranges and rusts of October -- your palete is refreshing!

Using the dish's box was a splendid idea for the base of your centerpiece. Perfect way to get exactly the right color & theme going.

Everything is just luscious....very rich looking. Well done!

Boy do I ever love your brown and green tablescape. I am scoping out every piece. Love the green, mercury glass and lace wine glasses. The Rosanna plates are to die for...I gave away a set of Rosanna blue & white dishes this spring and had a really hard time giving them up. The box is so perfect as a base for your gorgeous white pumpkins and candle sticks. Love it all.
Hugs,
Sue
