Do you swatch? ....I have to do this to decide on paint colors when redoing a room.
Paint little swatches on the wall of colors I like. Those little sample cans now at Lowes is a great way to do this.
Then when I narrow it down or make my decision on one I paint the smallest wall first and look at it. It makes me sore with my Fibro to paint, so I usually paint one or two walls a day, then rest a day, then paint again. It works for me!
Right now hubby is freaked out about the really darkest chocolate brown, which I admit might be a bit to dark. I think I will go for a compromise and a little less intense.
Then I will make the dark chocolate and the blue be the accent colors.
I am going flat based paint.

Oh well, usually I do it and then he is fine, it is just the process that bugs him, don't know why, I do most of the work!
I am thinking of using the lighter brown at the top now for the wall colors in a flat finish.
Still will contrast nice with our antique white furniture I think.

Linda,
It has been a bit since I was over, but I wanted to say hi. I am getting ready to paint two rooms and have been swatching also. Hope you are having a nice summer.
Cathy
