Tablescape Thursday time.....if you think Summer, you got to think Strawberries!

Time for Tablescape Thursday, thank you to Susan for being a great hostess each week!
Please visit her blog at,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/2009/07/welcome-to-47th-tablescape-thursday.html , for other tablescapers this week and enjoy the show!

What would Summer be without Strawberries or Christmas in July, at least color wise that is!
I decided I needed to change the kitchen table from all the 4th of July things.
So a bit of my favs Red and Green popped out.
But don't they just say Summer color to you? They always do to me.
( Click on any photos to enlarge)

Red , Green and it isn't even Christmas yet, well maybe Christmas in July!
Centerpiece is just a cloche filled with faux strawberries on top of a small Bordallo cabbage
cake plate pedestal and some cabbage leaves around the base.

This cute little bee topped strawberry salt and pepper set
in a strawberry basket for accents.

A little bit of Bordallo Pinheiro green cabbage dinnerware goes a long way!
I keep finding more pieces to my set, slowly but surely.

These darling Queens Dining dinner plates, aren't they cute?
And there goes the computer turning one photo again??Mystery?

What's not to like about Red, Green and White?
I like our cozy kitchen, it always seems cheery to me.

The table setting; my red crystal glasses, red handled flatware, those pretty
embroidered napkins I found at the thrift store, my Majolica Bordallo cabbage salad or dessert plates, Queens Dining "Fruit Garden" Strawberries dinner plates and lovely red quilted place mats.

Are you hungry for some strawberry tarts?
I like how the red and green of it all contrasts with the
white table.

A complete table view, like a little garden patch of strawberries.
Can you tell I love RED? !!!!
