Time for Tablescape Thursday once again.....thanks to Susan at , http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/, for being our
hostess and bringing us all together for fun. Be sure and check out her blog and all the other tablescape posts this week!
I promised this week, no more dining room for a bit.
So I put together just today a bit of a romantic dinner spot in the living room in front
of the fire place.
Although it is way to hot to have a fire, we can still be romantic by candlelight!
I used a plant stand with a round mirror on top to make us a little bistro table.
The regular dining room chairs got softened and blended with the table setting by draping
them with some sheer window panels.
Menu;( Some of our favs)

Some Shrimp Cocktails
BBQed Steaks
Green Vegetable Salad
and
Drumstick Ice Cream
Used just our everyday flatware this time, with roses on the handles.
A romantic place by candle light, with some good wine, good music, kiss or two, tee hee!
I like to have levels of things, like different heights in my candles etc.
I found the pink wine glasses at a garage sale for 50 cents each.
Layered table with pink table cloth, table runners I had made years and years ago from our left over wedding fabrics and used my black linen napkins again.
I layered newly found mauve pink and white "Botanic Pink" dessert plates
by Portmeirion( bought the cake plate too, hoping I can find more pieces of this in the future, like tea cups and saucers) with my
"Old Britain Castles" transfer ware dinner plates .
Ok, now it is time for you to leave.....as we want to be alone.
