Will it ever get nice enough......

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out in blogland!
I was gazing out my back sliding door, wondering if it is going to get nice
weather wise and stay that way, so I can enjoy this....
our back deck.
We have some of the wood decking we have to replace this year.
Also one day we want to put a more permenant roof on it etc. and possibly screen it
all in.
Right now it does not look this clean, needs it's Spring cleaning etc. for the Summer and Fall
use.
But hopefully in the next weekend or two it can get done.
Usually Ron and I do the whole thing together in one day.
These photos from my old camera.
I know, this is the redneck version of a covered deck but hey, it works for now.
It keeps my things basically dry over the winter and in the Summer etc. we take the sides off so
we can see out etc. but still have the top cover for shade or rain days.
It is all lighted and I have a candle abra chandelier out there. We have
had some nice dinner parties with friends etc.
We even have speakers wired outside for music to eat by.
I am anxious to use it again this year!!!

Some of the items have changed out here. I now have a round table where this oblong one is.
The oblong one got painted out white and is going to be my crafting table in my craft room.
On the far left is an old victorian iron sofa day bed my neighbor was getting rid of for $25, so I snagged it. I put cusions on it ( it will fold down to make a bed) and in Summer it is covered with soft old quilts and pillows.
Makes a great place to read a book in Summer!
The green screen behind the wicker sofa is made from three old peely paint shutters I found for cheap and hinged together.
I have alot of old garden things I have saved or collected, before they were even popular like now in the shops.
Lots of iron plant stands, wire bird cages and so on.

This is a wonderful looking room! Bright and cheery with all the pretty colors! My sunroom is full of plants that were just stuck there to keep them from the freezing temps - did drag them out this week but lots of mess to clean up before i can show pictures!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Looks good to me. The house I had before I moved here, had a large covered patio and I enjoyed it so much. We need sunshine and for the rain to stop for a while. I have lost some potted plants - I am sure from being constant soggy & no sun.
