BEFORE.......not to exciting. This was my project today on a stay at home Sunday. This is a chair I got for free. A shop owner I know downtown knows that I paint on furniture and gave it to me. Since it was free, I could do about anything with it.

I decided to use it for a desk chair or craft room chair for my up coming new craft/ larger laundry room.
AFTER.......definitely looks much better don't you think?!
I am in love with damask patterns and after seeing a cute office that was all done in black and cream or black and white in a decorating magazine years ago, I knew that was for me.
So that will be what happens in my new craft room once we do it.
Thought it would happen this year but we are doing a couple other things first, like the master bedroom project.
So hopefully next year, I am ready for my creative ME space!
In the mean time I keep gathering and getting things ready for it, lol.
The back panel. The center piece is from a pretty tea or quest towel that I found
in a shop .
I still have some trimming out to do around the edges of the damask and the
monogram panel.
And here it is with the little desk I redid, both will end up in my craft room one day!

I'm in love with your chair & your desk!!! They would both go perfectly in my bedroom. I could just keep them there until you get your craft room done in a year or two. lol. You did a super job on both.
