Show & Tell Friday time......something cute and man cavish!

Time for Show & Tell Friday thanks to Kelli at,http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/
. Be sure and check out her creative blog and see others who
post links who are showing and telling this week!

Well I had to show you one of my cute tiny weeny fairy dolls.
I really love these dolls, have several by this same doll maker lady.
She is from Oregon and I bought several of these porcelain sleeping baby fairy dolls from her
when she has been at the doll shows in Puyallup.
And just to be fare, thought I would show part of the "man cave" aka family room
at our house.

Several years ago was a rough time for us. Ron was laid off for like 6mths, our truck got
wrecked and totaled a week before Christmas and times were tough financially for a while.
I had to be creative at Christmas etc.
So I found this nice box in a throw away pile at a local cabinet making shop.
Took some things from Ron's collections, his College Baseball Team Jersey, a photo of him pitching from those days and took it to the local hardware store.
They cut the plexiglass for me and helped me nail it to the shadow box.
Ron was really pleased with his gift!
Sometimes homemade and sentimental are the best anyway!
And one wall in this same room.
You can see what I am up against, the Baseball flu, tee hee!
At least I keep it contained to this room!
And I make him dust all his things!!!
