Belated , Wednesday Wee Ones.....a new obsession, pin cushion dolls!

Well I am not feeling to great this week, so a bit slow in the blog posting department!
Here is my Wednesday Wee Ones post finally, well at least it is still Wed. here!
Check out my friend Dianna's blog too at , http://lavenderdreamstoo.blogspot.com/, as she is a fellow doll collector and usually posts on Wednesday Wee Ones too.

Well I have a new collection blooming I think, like I need one LOL!
Half or Pin Cushion dolls. Right now I only have 4, well I have a few others that are new or reproduction ones with pin cushions on them also.
But these 3 plus 1 are the ones without pincushions on them and the 3 are the only antique ones I have.
I have them in a little wooden wall cabinet that my mother tole painted for me.

Left to right; 1. I found at a thrift store for like $5, 2.next one little girl with arms out I just found recently, 3. one I found on our anniversary trip last Fall in Port Townsend WA.( these three are all German made) and 4. this is a reproduction one but pretty, she was a thrift store find.

A couple of my big dolls in the doll room.
Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!!

Your new collection is nifty! You don't see many pin cushion dolls in the antique or thrift shops!

I have never seen these pin-cushion dolls before, but I love them. I will have to start looking for them in my yard sale, auction, flea market travels...they are wonderful. Thank you for visiting my blog, best of luck to you in the drawing for the give-away. Hugs, Kathleen

I have always liked pin cushion dolls. The only one I have was my grandmother's, and I can't believe it isn't broken into little pieces, because my sister and I used to play with that "half doll" when we were little. We thought she was just missing a body. I'm so glad I still have her. Yours are so pretty. And I love that cabinet your mother painted. laurie
