This week for show & tell Friday I thought I would show this cute little ormolu love token , it is probably late 1800s to turn of the century.
I found it in a shop on a day I got to go antiquing recently. It is all metal with black paint and then gold metal adornments.
I had never seen something like this, thought it very sweet.
It reads; We Count Our Blessings then has little dial wheels in the back so you can change the numbers in the heart spaces.
The largest heart space reads; Wonderful Married Years.
The two smaller hearts read; Devoted Children and Precious Grandchildren.
It is a fun little find!

I got my chicken wire cages today and they are ca-ute! Gotta say they sure didn't package them very well, so you did good getting them from the store. I had to work at straightening mine out in a couple of places. They really do have a great aged look to them too! Now I'm wandering around my house looking for ANY wall space....What was I thinkin'? *winks*....Vanna
