Happy Thanksgiving to all in blogland...been away, healing up!

Here is wishing everyone in Blog land a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving
where ever you will be eating turkey!

Well I hadn't planned to be away from my blog this long, just been busy and
then this past Thursday got hit with a bad Fibromyalgia flare up.
I am still healing up from that!
Our Antique mall space has really been keeping me busy as well, things
been flying out of there.
So have to restock at least once a week, take time to tag things and also find new things to sell, but I am enjoying it.
And it helps pay off some extra dental bills etc.

You may have seen the Northwest on the national news, since we had
quite the Winter storm on Monday.
Been so so cold here, not alot of snow but icy and cold!
I am thankful that Ron got studded snow tires put on both
our cars this year, we did that last Friday, good timing!

Before all the bad weather hit I got a chance to have a ME day.
In my adventures at Marshall's ( love that store) I found this huge
cloche. It is like 16" tall and about 14" in diameter at the base.
It will definitely get some cute Christmas things under it soon, probably on the dining room table.
It was only $19.99, couldn't pass it up!
A girl can never have to many chandeliers or cloches I say!

Since feeling some better been trying to get back to my
Christmas decorating.
I like to get the kitchen done before Thanksgiving so then afterwards
it is ready to cook, bake and entertain in!
I decided to put the kitchen tree in the old English produce crate
my mother gave me.
I think it is cute in this.

I have done the kitchen in gingerbread theme for years now and love it.
I like unpacking the ornaments and seeing them all over again each year.

The colors are so cheery and of course there is RED! which
I always love.

I like using things I collect and enjoy too on the tree.
Like the green and white restaurant ware cups etc.
The little demitasse cups I use to play with as doll dishes, I think my grandma
gave them to me.
The cup at the bottom here that says "The Turf" inside is from a garage sale, for $1.
I got it because Ron's grandparents use to own a restaurant named The Turf in
Walla Walla WA.
So I had to get it!
This room basically done and I will move onto the next one after
Thanksgiving.
Enjoy everyone, Bless you all on this day of Thanksgiving and
for the holidays!

What a cute tree! I like that cloche, too. Where is your space? I'll have to stop by soon.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

My boys have been lovin' this snow. :)

Whoops, I had a brain freeze - I see now where your space is - Sassafras! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!
