Show & Tell Friday.....very Chandelicious!

Time for Show & Tell Friday and a Happy Mother's Day weekend
to all you mothers out there in blogland!
for hosting us each week for this event.
Be sure and check out her fabulous blog and the other show & tellers this week!

This week at Castle Queen....showing off my Chandeliciousness around the house.
First up, our dining room Chandelier which was a previous Mother's Day gift from my
hubby. I just love it!!
It just makes the dining room!
(Click on any photo to see larger)

And when I redid the kitchen decor about 5 years ago I sold off old light fixtures etc.
to pay for the new ones that I found at Lowes.
I was trying to find a chandelier for above the kitchen table as well as the sink area.
Not always easy to find them to match but I did.
A piece of old red painted tin ceiling serves as the ceiling medallion above the table one.

The matching little three light above the kitchen sink still gives me enough work light but
looks pretty and more decorative than a regular light.

And I found this little gem at a local antique shop, repainted the to shiny brass to antique white
and added some shades I had.
This one adorns a spare bedroom that is home to my doll collection.
The dollies like their bling light too

This old Spanish brass chandelier was a thrift store find
years ago for $25 with most all it's prisms intact too.
Shades were found recently for $1.50 a piece at ROSS.
This one soon to be wired up and will grace the refinished ceiling in our master bedroom above the bed.

This little 4 light Spanish brass is above our master bath sink
( so ignore the still popcorn ceilings , unfinished paint job and not removed yet wall paper border behind it).
This is our June project, to finish these rooms.

And yes our laundry / 1/2 bath has a chandelier also. I new one I found on sale, little more
country and rustic than blingy but still like it.
It adds something to the room!

And the bath tub area of the master bathroom gets it's own bling too.
Love this little tiny chandy that a friend found when we were thrifting together, $4 with
it's prisms, she let me have it though, nice!!
I added a little ceiling medallion under it and voila!

This piece was a ceiling fixture that I found for like $10, took to my local hardware
store where the lighting guy likes to redo lights in his spare time. He turned it into
a hanging lamp for me for about $28.
It hangs in the master bedroom as well but as an accent light.
Silicone bulbs will help to achieve low and soft lighting anywhere!

Hope you have enjoyed the Bling in my Chandelicious home!
And you can rest assured that if this Queen of the castle can find another place to
put a chandelier, she probably will.
After all, a Girl can never have to many chandeliers!!!

Love your Chandys specially the one in the diningroom. It''s been interesting looking for one with brass and crystal. I'll just keep on.
