I have been wanting to join in this fun on Tuesdays and so far haven't gotten to and then today I am a wee bit late, busy week.
But here I am!
Still don't know why this system is turning some photos though , so bare with
the technical difficulties on this post.
I thought I would show my coffee table as it is right now.
Our inlaid coffee table was a find years ago at a garage sale and I just love it.

Our inlaid coffee table was a find years ago at a garage sale and I just love it.

It holds an alabaster bust of Robert Burns the poet on an old Victorian stand under
one of my glass cloches.
I got it shortly after meeting a family cousin who is related on my Scottish side.
Her Grandfather and my grandfather were cousins.
Her Grandfather Robert Burns McLellan was called Burns for short, this bust has
Burns engraved on it's base. I thought that that was cool since I had
just met her!
And a little old metal dog figure rests on a brass and marble stand I have.
The dog reminds me of the English setter my dad had when growing up, the dog's name was Rebel.
A stone ball rests on a little metal urn and a little pyrography vanity box ( one in my collection) also graces the table with some old buttons in it.
The candelabra was a recent thrift store find and it works well here.
