This week I pulled together a quick "Friends" Valentine table in the kitchen, just right for a pretty little tea luncheon.
I call it a Friends table because many things on it were given to me by friends!
For the place setting; I started with the pretty floral English Johnson Bros. dinnerware I found at the thrift store months ago, then put on some pale blue with a hint of pink heart salad plates that my friend Mishelle at,http://thecrownedcasa.blogspot.com/ , gave me when we first met, some pink heart bowls I found on sale last year, and my pink wine glasses which were all found at garage sales for like 50 cents each.
I used my grandparent's silver plate flatware that I inherited , Eternally Yours Rogers Bros.
pattern.
The pretty floral place mats and the burgundy napkins were a gift from my good friend Marilyn at,http://somewhereinmytime.blogspot.com/ , . And the cream porcelain napkin rings were a gift from my mother years ago, made by a good friend of hers.
The center piece is made up of some faux cream roses in a pretty Fenton cranberry rose vase I had. A porcelain rose, also a gift from Marilyn, with an Antique Valentine tucked in with some blue votive cups all on top of a cake stand I have.
I think we will have to have some raspberry tea with this setting, yum!
Hope you all have friends who love you and treat you as well as mine do in
your life!
And speaking of good friends who treat me so well.
Look what I got today from Marilyn, Valentine goodies to open!!
I plan to have some me time here shortly ; open my pretties and have a cup of tea and enjoy a new magazine I also got!
Mmmmm, some chocolate too, that always works for me, lol!
