Baby Grandson Landon has arrived......Show and Tell Friday!

Just realized that this would work for my Show & Tell, maybe with a little fudging.
Is it ok Cindy, this week, can I be an acception to the rules?
See other posters Show & Tells at her blog,
.
Our first Grandchild , Landon James Nelke arrived today at 1:21 pm, Feb 26th.
He was at about 3 weeks early, 20 1/2 " long and 8.4 lbs.
So a big boy!
He had to arrive by C Section but Momma and baby both doing fine!

Congratulations, Grandma! What a handsome lad!

My own baby became a father for the first time in January. I have other grandchildren, but each one is like no other, so it may as well have been my first too. Nothing quite so thrilling as seeing (some of) your DNA in a new generation, or a tiny head turn your way when you speak because this new person *does* recognize your voice after many months of hearing it in the womb.

P.S.: My D-I-L had a scheduled C-section, which on the one hand deprived us of wondering "Is today the day?". On the other hand, knowing the exact date (and hour) allowed us all the luxury of arranging our calendars weeks ahead of time.

Again, congrats to you and yours!
