Metamorphosis Monday......an Oar with more !

Time for Metamorphosis Monday, thank you to Susan at, http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/, for hosting us.

Well since I have been working this week to be ready to go in my new mall space tomorrow, then

I thought I would show you some thing I have been working on and got done.

Before......

a wooden oar with a sort of gold paint color on it.

After......

first it got distressed with a coat of antique white paint.

Then brass hardware went on the front and hanging hardware on the back, so it can

be a coat rack.

Then it got stenciled with the word - Fish on the paddle.

After that the painting begins, with a fishing bobber on the handle end...

and a glass float with rope and a hook with worm on the paddle end as well.
Then when done painting is is all spray sealed to seal the paint job and hand signed
by me the artist on the back.
So now it is ready for the shop!
And I will begin another painting project, a bench is next I think!
