Finally some progress...and the first bits of flooring.

Some where asking what projects we were doing while hubby has been on vacation.

Well he got both shower/tub units looking like new and some repairs done on my spa tub.

He helped me pack up all the Christmas things.

He plans to scrape some popcorn ceiling off in the family room this weekend.

This is the year of scraping ceilings, I have had it with that icky popcorn and it must get done!

We were going to do that in our master bedroom these two weeks of his vacation .

But why tear the room apart for that and then put it together and then have to tear it apart again to do the new flooring later. I would rather wait and do one big tear apart and redo at the same time on the bedroom!

And also I didn't want Ron feeling like he had to work the whole time on vacation, what kind of vacation would that be?

But with some Christmas money from my folks I did buy the first of the flooring, better way to spend it I thought, so we start the pile.

And when we get it all , then we will do the project.

I am excited just to think about it finally happening after an unplanned delay.

Still don't know if we will recover the money he lost due to his one employer or not.

Makes me so mad!
