Tablescape Thursday....a bit of Gingerbread in the Kitchen.

It is time for Tablescape Thursday... thanks to Susan at,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , for being our ever fabulous hostess.
Be sure and check out her blog for the other tablescapers this week.

Well I think this is my first Christmas tablescape.. Only fitting that I begin in the kitchen, as that is usually the first room I decorate for Christmas.
I do a Gingerbread theme in this room, so only right that the table reflects that as well.

Have no idea why this is turning the photo again, anyway....
The darling little napkin rings and salt and pepper were a gift from my dear friend Marilyn at,http://somewhereinmytime.blogspot.com/ , several years ago.
The are darling in my kitchen.

This darling hot chocolate pot and mugs set is one of my favorite things to put out in the kitchen this time of year.

These darling hot chocolate mugs I got several years ago. Each one says a different thing; Faith ,
Hope , Joy and Love.
And we do drink from them!

Years ago I bought these premade little gingerbread houses at Michaels.
They had them plain with all the separate little candy pieces etc. to buy separate and glue on.
It was a fun little project to make but with out the calories of a real gingerbread house!
I also put on the little fake snow etc.
It makes a cute statement on this tiered stand I have and in the center of the table.

Closer view of some of the houses. Alot of the accessories I have found in my travels.
Adding old vintage glass bead garland and little bottle brush trees adds something to the whole scene.

For years now I have been doing the kitchen in Gingerbread theme at Christmas time. I love it!
Makes me feel happy. This is the feather tree in the kitchen this year.

Place setting is; Marshalls red quilted place mats, Target metallic red plate chargers, Pinerro Cabbage green dinner plates, Walmart candy cane dessert plates, Marshalls green pearl handled flatware in felt mitten package tags, crisp white banquet napkins, gift gingerbread napkin holders, Westmoreland "Old Quilt" milk glass tumblers from my collection, Gift ware hot chocolate mugs I bought years ago.

A full view of the table with centerpiece and cookies hanging from the chandelier.
Merry Christmas!

Oh, how cute this table is! I'm starting to get into the gingerbread theme as well, but I need a few more pieces to really get it going. I love your tiered centerpiece with all the little houses on it, and the gingerbread boys and girls hanging from the chandelier are just adorable! Thanks for sharing and happy TT to you!

Delicious from top to bottom. I think your centerpiece is over-the-top. Yummy and fun. I just posted a great gingerbread man recipe tonight! It would go great with your sweet post.
