Show and Tell Friday.....some of my very first Christmas gifts.

Time for our every fun Show and Tell Friday. Thank you to Cindy at ,http://romantichome.blogspot.com/ , for playing hostess.
Be sure and check out her fabulous blog and also the others who are showing and telling this week!

For this weeks show and tell thought I would show you some of my first ever Christmas gifts.
The first one is the Hermann Zotty Mohair Teddy Bear that my Dad bought me in England.
I got most of these things I am showing for my first Christmas gifts, in my first three.
I know have him in a case in my doll room with some of my first shoes . Behind him is the dress I am wearing as a baby in the photo that is in with him. My parents even put the bear in the photo shoot with me.
His squeaker inside no longer works but otherwise he is in great condition.

My first doll that my mother got me. This was also purchased when we lived in England.
She still has her original dress and shoes. I think the socks got lost. Even have her original tag etc. She was well played with and her hair has been washed many times etc.

My bear again, he is a prized bear!!

My childhood rocking chair, is made of bent oak. I also received this for one of my first Christmas times when we lived in England.
See the cute
little gnome and toadstools pattern in the back?
When my son was little my mother tried to have someone make one like this
for him but it couldn't be done here, those European craftsmen know some tricks maybe we don't know!
Somewhere I have a photo of me in this rocker at about 2 years old, holding the above doll with our Christmas tree in the back ground.
