Metamorphosis Monday......Mantel holiday change.

Time for Metamorphosis Monday, thank you to Susan at ,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , for hosting us.
Check out her fabulous blog and see who else is posting Met Monday posts.
Always so fun to see what others are up to!

Before.......some of the Mantel when I was doing it for Halloween.
I actually ended up having it decked out even more than this.
But you get the idea.

After ......I got out all the Fall that I have which isn't alot as I go into
Christmas pretty soon anyway, I love Christmas.
But before I start Christmas around the house the mantel can have a new look for a bit.
I layered all sorts of faux Fall foliage on the mantel and stuck in sprigs of sugared fruit, some mercury acorns and other sugared pumpkins etc.
Trimmed it out with some Fall ribbon.
(Click on any photo to enlarge)

I filled the beverage server apothecary jar with sugared fruits, pumpkins and gourds.

I will have to try taking photos in the day time, maybe then I can get the sugared
fruits and things with out them reflecting back during a flash.

And my pretty Fall Wreath that I have have for a couple years got put
in it's place of honor on the front door too.

I love how your oval mirror mimicks the arch in the brick...and it reflects your jar and fruit so well...The wreath on the front door is adorable

Isn't it amazing how you can change up the fire mantel with a few pieces and it can transform a room. Great job. I am going to click on your "Follow" button and you can do the same if you like what you see at my blog.
