Tablescape Thursday....... Bootiful!!!

It is time again for our ever fun Tablescape Thursday posts.

Go to Susan's great blog,http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ , and check out all the fun of other's sharing their fabulous tables.

Thought I had better do my BOOTIFUL table for Halloween this week.

So come on in and be prepared to be ......scared!!!

The menu this evening....

Eat at your own risk!!!!

Be afraid , be very afraid........

But come and eat and have fun!!!

After all it is Halloween month!

The gathering place for all the Guys and Ghouls!

(Our us and some friends this Halloween)

A little black Halloween garland in the chandelier almost looks like bats flying around it.

(Click on photos to enlarge and see closer)

The centerpiece, filled with real creatively spooky food this will be great!

A faux Halloween cake I usually use for my dolls makes a nice accent under

a glass cloche on an extra charger.

The side board in all it's spookalicious glory!

The side board holds all the Brews.

I saw some apothecary jars being sold in a catalog with Halloween printing on them.

So I got the idea, why not use what you have but put stickers on them , then you can wash or take them off after.

So my beverage server became the Boo Brew holder!

The plates even look good with my copper charges too for a difference.

They look more red in photos but trust me with the oranges they look good in person.

I folded the napkins on the plates to look a bit like witches hats, tide a scrap of ribbon around them. And for favors added some little pumpkin candles too.

The centerpiece is the three teared server I found at a garage sale for $2 with ghoulish

food inside it and some faux Halloween cookies in it for now.

And the menu under a cloche on the top layer.

Menu under glass!

We are ready to party!

I had a coupon for 40% off at a Craft store I like.

So I used it this year to get the spiderweb tablecloth to go with my doilies and mantel

scarf I already had. It goes great on our black round dining table.

I love how the wood shows through it.

The place setting......
Spider web lace tablecloth from local craft store,

plate chargers from Michael's craft store, flatware is "Caitlynn" Onieda from

Macys, plates with orange and black pattern from Party City, green water goblets from Target,

black stemmed wine glasses from thrift store, pumpkin mugs I had, black linen napkins were found on clearance somewhere.

The spookier cartoon version!!!
( You can see this affect better if you enlarge photos)

Happy Halloween!!

BOO!!

SCAREALICIOUS!!

SPOOKTACULAR!

Some other spooky ideas to add would be;

1. Change out the buffet lamp shades with another color, like green or white ones

and lay spiderweb doilies over them.

2. Cover the seats of the chairs with spiderweb doilies also.

3. Blow up old scary family photos or found photos

and layer them over existing prints on the walls.

Use tape to just tape them over the glass so they can be removed afterwards.

4. Get black lamp prisms and change out those on the chandelier for a spookier look!!

5. Tie on spookiness to the backs of the chairs; large black or orange bows, or gauze

streamers would be cool too.
