Tablescape Thursday.......starts with some pretty birthday roses!

This weeks simple breakfast or lunch table started with these gorgeous roses I got for my

birthday from my best friend for 36 years, Val.
The colors so fresh and pretty, just love roses!!

So they set the mood and were the centerpiece this week.

The place setting this week is a pretty but basic one.

My pale green place mats from Marshalls, our everyday flatware, my pinky peach colored stemware my mother gave me, Cabbage dishes layered with these pretty yellow flower Martha Stewart bowls from Macys ( they are new) and thrift store napkins and rings.

Those cute little birds( salt and pepper shakers) from Target are back. I didn't get these before

but when I saw they had more on a recent trip to Target I got a pair.

Aren't they tweet!

I like these cute botanical napkin rings that have a different picture

under each glass piece. I found these at the thrift store also.

And I used these pretty white on white embroidered napkins I found

at the thrift store before.

The whole table, fresh and pretty!
