Well it has begun...with hubby's help today.
I could have done it all by myself but it did help to have two
pairs of hands at times.
I recently found enough old windows to make
a Garden terrarium out of for our back deck area.
Every since seeing Cindy's
( our hostess today) at
and also one being used
for great displays at
one of my favorite shops,
Joyworks in Snohomish WA.
Then I have wanted to make one.
One of the vendors at the mall where I have
a space had some windows for sale.
All with glass intact etc.
So I got enough for my project.
The roof pieces hing open so I can get inside of it and
then hook closed at the top.
I found these cute pieces of gingerbread a couple
weeks ago at a local shop, By Word Of Mouth and
they will look great on either end of the top.
Plus I will have some other cute trim and wood finials etc. to
put on it and decorate it with.
But so far I love how it is turning out.
I am thinking I will put a small Christmas tree under it with lights
for the Christmas season on our covered back deck.
Thank you to Cindy for being our hostess this week and every week
for Show & Tell Friday at her great blog, one of my favs
Be sure and stop by and see her amazing home and see who
else is Showing & Telling this week!
