It is time for Tablescape Thursday, thanks to our hostess Susan at
http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/. Be sure and stop by her blog and be inspired by all the great tablescapers this week.
Because I am really busy this week, yesterday prepping and today moving my antique mall space, I thought I would give you a look at
a table scape I did about this time last year.
One of my favorites and using those pretty white ceramic pumpkins I had on the table last week.
One of my green, brown and off white tables.
I never tire of this color combination.
Almost went with this color scheme in our master bedroom but then decided the blue was better than the green for in there, plus we had had green for to long.
These white ceramic pumpkins I got years ago on sale after the season are a favorite, I never tire of them.
They were the inspiration for this table.
I set them on the cute box that the dinner plates come in for some height, along with some milk glass etc. pieces for some candle holders.
I used our ever day Oneida flatware, some satin brown place mats that also reverse to the green color, they were a great Marshall's find. I should have bought more of them than 4.
A few leaf dishes for serving butter etc. in and some green napkins also from Marshall's all work well.
The chicken napkin rings were a thrift store find.
I added a couple brown transfer ware butter pats around with candles on them as well.
These little ceramic acorn salt and pepper shakers also go nice with
this setting .
I love it with the candles lit.
I was happy to find candles in the right color at
our local pharmacy/gift store.
For stemware I used green mercury glass goblets I got online on sale after the holidays one year from Dillard's .
Paired those up with some brown Walmart goblets.
The place setting starts off with our Le Famille toile dinner plates from
Rosanna Inc. I am so in love with these plates!!
Then salad or dessert plates are brown toile plates I found at
Marshall's as well.
Then I topped the whole thing off with some green leaf Majolica
bowls I also found at Marshall's and a little sprig of
acorns for accent.
I think it is a Fall table fit for a Queen and her household, don't you?!
Have a great Thursday everyone!!

Love those dishes and the color combination. Yes - Fit for a Queen. :-D
I am absolutely in love with the plates (how did I ever miss those at Marshall's??? :-( ) and the mercury glass goblets! Beautiful! Just beautiful!
Linda, this is one of the prettiest tables I have seen...love the lime with the brown, it is such a rich, warm table.
Soooo cute and inspiring :)
What a great eye you have to mix and match and it all looks perfect. Your white ceramic pumpkins are elegant. You've given me a great idea of how to use an odd but lovely piece of transfer-ware as a candle holder. I've gotten some of my favorite pieces of tableware from Dillards. Pretty table!
So glad you reposted this! Those white pumpkins are fabulous and what you've created around them looks wonderful! The colour combo is perfectly matched throughout. Everything from the S&P shakers to the plates looks great. I'd love to be a guest at this table!
