Metamorphosis Monday......meet me at the Beach, Table!

Time for Metamorphosis Monday.

Has been a while since I have joined in, have been so busy, Summer ( if you can call this weather that) has been that way for me so far. I need to be twins at least!

But I have been painting again.

Here is a Beach themed coffee table I did recently....

BEFORE.....

Ron had to do a bit of sanding for me to get off the crayon, permanent marker marks etc. off this pine coffee table.

Then I had to do a dry brush method of distressing it in antique white.

And then begin the detail painting I do.

AFTER........
And here it is done with the details painted.

A life preserver in the center complete with lighthouse at the beach scene.

And little fishing bobbers in the corners for some cute added detail.

I hope someone will buy it and have a fun place to use it, love it as much

as I enjoyed painting it!
